To carry out an international survey of literature and obtain information from case studies (by exchange of knowledge through networking) on different methods and practical applications for in situ preservation of ship wrecks and other underwater constructions. A seminar with the consortium, and invited practicing cultural resource managers, marine archaeologists and conservators inside and outside Europe will be held in Denmark, in order to provide WP 2 with the latest information and experience. The most appropriate and economic choice for effective preservation methods will be selected for implementation in the guidelines (WP 3.2).
